Mizuno M1 Qualifies 10 Teams for 2009 USA Jr Olympic Championships in Miami

*M1 181 wins two 18 Open National Qualifiers in 2009.  Indy MEQ and Mpls NLQ Champions.

*M1 171 wins the Indy MEQ 17 Open National Qualifier in 2009

*M1 161 places 2nd at the Mpls NL National Qualifier 16 Open

Region Tourn Notes: There are 2 region tournaments in April, (Nat'l Qualifying and Non qualifying events)

The NCR has not had a Regional Championship for many many years. That went by the wayside back in the 1990s.

The bid tournament (NCR Qualifier) is for teams wishing to qualify and only for those that do not have bids yet.

(That is why many of the top teams in the region do not play in the regional qualifier, if they have already Q'd)

The NCR area event is a season ending region event for many clubs throughout the state.  April 25/26 weekend.

The M1 teams continue into May/June/July depending on the age and level of competition.

North Country Region Regional Nat'l Qualifier: Sat April 11th, 2009

    Mizuno M1 141:  1st Place, Qualified

    Mizuno M1 151:    3rd Place, Qualified

    Mizuno M1 15Navy:  5th Place, Qualified

    Mizuno M1 161:   2nd Place, Qualified

    Mizuno M1 16Navy:   7th Place, Qualified

    Mizuno M1 16Royal:   8th Place, Qualified

    Mizuno M1 17Navy:    2nd Place, Qualified

    Mizuno M1 18Navy:     3rd Place, Qualified

M1 181 and 171 previously qualified in the Open Division in Indianapolis at the MEQ.

Other recent results:

M1 15 Navy 1st at the MN State Mankato Challenge.

M1 141 1st Place at April 5th Mizuno Series Tournament.

KC Show Me Qualifier:  151 3rd place Bronze Division

KC Show Me Qualifier:  18Navy 9th Place Gold Division

M1 monthly fees may be paid without your statement.

To remain eligible for travel and training/competition, accounts must be current.

The North Country Regional Qualifier will be on Saturday April 11th, 2009 (Easter Weekend)

This event is mandatory for all M1 Team Members that are on potential USAV National Bound teams.

 "All Qualifiers" require mandatory attendance.  Plan accordingly! (NCR Qualifier, NLQ, Indy, KC Qualifiers)

2009 JO's will be held in Miami FL June 25 - July 5 (various dates per age group)
